How Fashion Has Changed

As we know, fashion has changed a lot throughout the decades. Even within each year, the fashion icons will be wearing different things throughout each different season. You may think that from the year 2000 until now that fashion trends haven't really changed. That is true & not in many ways.

When I speak that fashion has changed, I'm saying it has changed in the long run. Sure, there may be people that still dress like they would in the '40s, but in general fashion has changed.

https://www.jpost.com/israeli-women/how-fashion-trends-have-changed-over-the-years-477889 's post on how fashion changed told me about in the 1920's how people liked to wear bright makeup. Some people choose to go out of the house in bright makeup right now, but the makeup trend for the past couple years was very natural. Basically the goal was to look like you had very little to no makeup on. Honestly, some girls would go above and beyond using all sorts of different products to give themselves that look.

https://www.whowhatwear.com/fashion-by-the-decade/slide14 In the 1970's platform heels were a big trend. You may not have noticed, but the trend of platforms is definitely coming back. Gucci recently came out with a pair of "platform"-ish heels that I think are so cute. I'd love to purchase a pair, but my wallet says no. Many people are not only buying platform heels, but platform sneakers as well. It's an easy life hack on how to make you taller.

BELL BOTTOMS. The most flattering pair of pants you will probably ever own. I love the way that they are tight at the top, but flare out at the bottom. Back in the '60s & '70s, people used to wear bell bottom jeans all the time. They were a fashion staple & definitely still are. If you know how to style them right, they can add that extra bit of pizzazz to any outfit. Bell bottoms don't just have to be jeans either. I have a pair of bell bottoms that are the best thing ever. They are navy blue, not jeans, with gold buttons going down the side. They are so flattering & I get many compliments on them. Aerie has a pair of flared yoga pants that are very popular. I recommend getting a pair of flared pants in the near future.

Moral of the story, yes fashion has changed, but a lot of different fashion trends are carried from the old days.
